Please note the figures that follow are for the 08/09 academic year and are to be used as a guide, the amounts for the forthcoming 09/10 academic year are yet to be released by the DCFS.

Fees

The full cost of the course per student currently is £3,510 per year. Successful applicants will be means tested and financial support is available in the form of a grant with potential additional financial support for travel and dance wear / shoes.

Amount of Grant

The full amount of grant from September 2009 will be £3,510 a year. You will not have to make any contribution if your total family income before tax is £29,793 or less (after deducting £1,830 for each dependent child in the family) in the tax year ended April 2010. If your family income is more you will receive a smaller grant and you may have to make a contribution as shown in the following table:
