Only Two Tables Left at Dance4's Charity Celebration & Benefit Gala

Don your most glamorous outfit, enjoy a glass of prosecco or two and join us for an evening of distinguished dance and fabulous food in the glorious splendour of The Ballroom at Nottingham's Council House.

On Thursday 31 March, Dance4 is hosting a Charity Celebration & Benefit Gala to celebrate 25 years of extraordinary dance and raise funds for our new International Centre for Dance and Choreography in the heart of Nottingham, opening in the summer of this year.



The wonderful Fiona Herbert Catering Co.

 will be providing a delicious three-course, sit-down meal for guests.



Throughout the evening, you will experience close-up performances by Spiltmilk Dance & Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Critically-acclaimed Spiltmilk Dance will be bringing their signature blend of dance, comedy and charm to the evening, presenting snippets from their fantastic shows Spiltmilk Say Dance and Blast from the Past.

Birmingham Royal Ballet's award-winning dancers Céline Gittens and Tyrone Singleton will be performing a special duet from Swan Lake. 


  • Tyrone Singleton was born in Surrey and trained at the Arts Educational School in Tring and at the Royal Ballet School. He joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2003 and was promoted to Principal in 2013. Tyrone’s progress though the Company has been marked by a variety of roles that have revealed different facets of his talent. Despite his already impressive list of leading roles Tyrone is now at the peak of his career and the next few years are going to be very exciting. AWARDS: Solo Seal, 2003
  • Céline Gittens was born in Trinidad and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. She started her dance training at the age of three, under the guidance of her mother, before joining the Vancouver Goh Ballet Academy in 2001. She joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2006; First Artist 2009; Soloist, 2011; First Soloist 2015. She received an MPhil (Education) from the University of Birmingham in 2012. AWARDS: RAD Solo Seal, 2004; gold medal and Audience Award, Adeline Genée Awards, 2005; finalist, Prix de Lausanne, 2006.



Your MC for the evening will be Pete Shenton of dynamic comedy dance duo New Art Club.  Pete has been working as a dance artist, deviser and writer for 20 years and will ensure you have the most fun at our Gala, with plenty of games and ways to participate, including a 5* raffle and other ways to donate on the evening. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of Pete in a unitard…
