Dance4 is recruiting for a Graduate Dance Artist role as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme.

Full time, Dec 17 – Nov 18, Salary £17,095

Selection date: Thursday 2 November

Dance4 has created a role for an emerging dance artist as part of a national programme to support recent graduates from low income backgrounds to begin careers in the arts.  

The successful candidate will be supported to develop their skills in several areas including choreography, performance and teaching through working on residencies and projects with Dance4 and involvement in selection panels and networks.  The role will be based at Dance4’s new international Centre for Choreography in Nottingham and there will be opportunities to undertake training elsewhere in the UK and internationally.

To be eligible for a Weston Jerwood Creative Bursary applicants must:

●      Have graduated from a first degree (BA or equivalent) within the past two years (i.e. in 2015, 2016 or 2017).  No minimum grade required.

●      Have received a full maintenance grant during the full period of their course and be able to verify it with the necessary paperwork for each year

●      Be a full-time UK resident
