We Are Seeking a Centre For Advanced Training Teaching Assistant

Application Deadline:

Dance4 have developed a Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) for the East Midlands, on behalf of the Department for Education. CAT is a part time training scheme to nurture and support young people aged 11-18 years with exceptional potential in dance.

We are looking for a committed dance artist to join our team, supporting young people through their training.

Saturdays (during term time)
£60 per day

In addition throughout the year there are also opportunities to chaperone during theatre trips and assist on some of our recruitment activity. These have additional fees that can be claimed.

The Teaching Assistant will support core and visiting artists during practical classes and offer support to students where needed. This is a practical role that requires the applicant to have good knowledge and understanding of contemporary dance and choreographic practices.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to work alongside professional dance artists in a training environment.

Please send in your CV and an expression of interest to be considered by Monday July 17 5PM.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to join a CAT training day, working alongside the young people.

Please send your CV to hayley [at] dance4 [dot] co [dot] uk or phone  0115 924 2016 for more information.
