Action Learning Leadership Programme
We have selected 6 artists currently living and working in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire who are keen to develop their reflective learning, and to invest in their leadership and facilitation skills, to participate in an Action Learning Leadership programme.
Dance4 is working with experienced consultants and trainers Sue Pike and Morag Ballantyne to deliver the programme and to provide course participants with a variety of rich resources.
We know that artists and small organisations strive continuously to improve their performance and to continue their professional development. We think that Action Learning can help you to be adaptive and resilient in current turbulent times.
Dance4’s objectives for this professional development opportunity are to:
- Create self-facilitating networks
- Build confidence and new skills
- Find alternative solutions to challenges
- Test out new ways of thinking
- Offer training to increase the number and range of leaders in the dance sector who can facilitate using an action learning approach
Action Learning is a process which involves working on real challenges, using the knowledge and skills of a small group of people combined with skilled questioning, to re-interpret old and familiar concepts and produce fresh ideas.
