THE HOUSE OF MYSTERY ROADSHOW

THE HOUSE OF MYSTERY ROADSHOW

A documentary by students at Lincoln University
The media team at Lincoln University have created a fantastic short documentary film that follows the five day House of Mystery Roadshow across Lincolnshire Libraries, including Skegness, Grantham, Gainsborough, Lincoln Central and Spalding.

Award-winning international artists Me and The Machine were commissioned to work with local artists and communities to create original interactive dance and performance events inspired by Lincolnshire Libraries' Creepy House Summer Reading Challenge.

With storytelling, arts and crafts sessions, dance performances and digitally enhanced reality experiences with Me and The Machine the Roadshow events had something for everyone.   The artists also presented their widely acclaimed previous work When We Meet Again, using video goggles and 3D sound that transports audiences into a new reality.

The Roadshow culminated in the premiere of a new work The Show of Your Life at Frequency Festival 2013 in Lincoln City Centre and you can see the trailer for that show here.

The House of Mystery Roadshow is a partnership project between Lincolnshire Libraries, the University of Lincoln, Dance4 and Frequency Festival. Produced by Dance4 with funding from Arts Council England.
