SAMBA AND TEARS | Sivan Rubinstein
SAMBA AND TEARS is a dance production that explores our consumption of media-packaged current affairs. As they relentlessly seek our attention, we willfully succumb to the never-ending floods of processed information that wash over us. With an ensemble of 4 dancers, a sound score composed of dozens of broadcast headlines, interviews, sports clips and live music, we bring you the news - as you have never seen or heard it before.
'I wanted to thank Dance4 on behalf of SAMBA AND TEARS for the week residency in Nottingham This week will have a big impact on the development and the quality of SAMBA AND TEARS and allowed us all to to be together all in one place, and create in this inspiring space. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Dance4'
