WEYA is a 10 day international celebration bringing 1000 artists aged 18-30 together for a festival programme across art forms in over 30 venues across Nottingham. Visit www.worldeventyoungartists.com and www.dance4.co.uk for more information.

Dance4 is working in partnership with the WEYA to present work from the country’s emerging young dance talent including Dance4's Creative Apprentice Ruthba Choudhury ,  young choreographer Roberta Jean with dance collective Mystery Skin and  Dance4’s Young Associate for Big Dance and WEYA Jennifer Manderson. Also don’t miss Mrs. Splash Workshop for Under5’s  at Mobile TMC, Old Market Square, Nottingham on Saturday 8 September from 12-12.45pm.

Jennifer Manderson is a young artist who is part a WEYA programme in which The Mighty Creatives (TMC) a charity working across the East Midlands to champion young people’s creativity and innovation, has commissioned seven partners including Dance4 to each develop a programme led by an emerging young artist and involving groups of young people to develop work inspired by WEYA. This work will  be showcased as part of the WEYA Festival, either at a host venue or as part of the Festival Hub in Market Square.
