Dance4's Silver Edition Summer 2016 Brochure has Landed

We are thrilled to bring to you a special silver edition brochure, celebrating 25 extraordinary years of Dance4 and also letting you know about the varied and rich events and performances that are taking place this summer.

This season, there are amazing opportunities to get involved with Fevered Sleep who, along with Dance4, are seeking Community Ambassadors to help connect an exciting new project, Men & Girls Dance to communities in the Snienton and St. Anns areas of Nottingham.  We are also looking for girls aged 8-11 to participate in Men & Girls Dance; a performance that celebrates the rights of adults and children to play and dance together.

There are further chances for people to get involved in Lucy Suggate's durational movement installation Swarm Sculptures.

This special silver edition brochure also contains information about all of our exciting neat16 (Nottingham European Arts and Theatre Festival) events. Our neat16 events start with Shelley on a Loop by Dog Kennel Hill Project and throughout the festival, we will present work from Dance4's Centre for Advanced Training in Dance students, a Sunday Supplement from Thea Patterson and Eva Susova, Gary Clarke Company's COAL, Do-Re-Me by Nicola Conibere, a video installation, The Waiting Room, by George Stamos and Leila McMillan's Family Portrait which is suitable for ages 6+.

As always, we've lots of opportunities for children and young people to get involved with Dance4 and other projects and events.  The National Youth Dance Company is performing at Nottingham Lakeside Arts in June, with a workshop taking place before hand for 15-18 (or up to 24 for dancers with a disability) year olds to take part in.

Dance4's Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) in Dance is holding its annual audition in July for young people who are gifted and talented in dance who are interested in joining the programme.
