Dance4 and City Arts are thrilled to have been commissioned by Cerebral Palsy Sport, the local organising committee for the World Games, and Nottingham City Council to produce the Opening Ceremony.

Opening Ceremony – Sunday 9 August at 7.00pm. Doors open at 6.00pm

Nottingham asks 'Where is a Place to Dance?'

Stuart Allen, Producer: Artists, Dance4 said, “The Dance4 team and myself are excited to explore the concept of where is a place to dance, with the public and a number of talented artists.  These artists will question and share their thinking about dance within galleries, dance that happens in our urban spaces and dance that offers the opportunity for the public to commission, create and perform.”

Nottingham Success Story with Dance4's CAT Student Beth Gardiner

Beth, who is from Wollaton, Nottingham was interviewed by ITV Central yesterday about her passion for dance and wanting to progress within the dance sector. 

Beth has been a Dance4 CAT student since 2013 is the only person in the UK with Down's Syndrome to have a place on the CAT scheme.
