CAT Alumni Achieve Success #1

We've been finding out what some of our CAT alumni have been getting up to since graduating... in this news article you can learn all about ex-CAT student Josh Atwood's success.

Josh Atwood
Josh joined Dance4 CAT in its pilot year in 2009. Josh had a very successful time with us, featuring in our Changing Perceptions project and gaining a place with the National Youth Dance Company in 2013. Josh left CAT to continue his training full time at London Contemporary Dance School in 2015.

At the end of his first year (July 2016) Josh was awarded the Peggy Hawkins Scholarship fund http://www.lcds.ac.uk/peggy-hawkins-scholarship-fund

Josh has just been selected to take part in the BBC Young Dancer of the Year 2017. Dancers aged 16-21 from across the UK were selected through two preliminary rounds to compete in four Category Finals: Ballet, Contemporary, South Asian Dance and Street Dance and Josh has got through to the category finals of the competition. Josh is one of five in the Contemporary Category.
